Argentine universities launch career fairs and vocational training

The Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS) has launched the 34th Higher Level Career Information Fair at the Palihue Campus in Bahía Blanca. The event, held on August 13 and 14, features record participation from all 17 academic departments of the UNS and 22 public and private educational institutions from the region. The fair provides students with information on various degree programs, study plans, and higher education alternatives.

In Rosario, the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) is offering 23 free vocational courses through its School of Trades. Pre-registration for these courses begins on August 18, with classes scheduled to start in September. The training programs are designed for young people and adults seeking to improve their labor market opportunities in sectors such as services, maintenance, and basic technical tasks.
