Argentine women's basketball: San José signs players as regional semifinals begin

Unión Deportiva San José has announced several key signings to strengthen its roster for the 2026/27 Liga Nacional Femenina season. The Mendoza-based club confirmed the arrivals of Malvina D’Agostino, Aylén Valdéz, and 18-year-old Josefina Peralta. Additionally, the team welcomes back veteran player Natacha Pérez.

In the regional league, the semifinals for the national league qualification are set to begin on August 15. The matchups include a classic between Independiente and Pacífico, as well as a highly anticipated contest between Centro Español and Biguá. The winners of these series will secure a spot in the upcoming national season.
