Argentinian municipalities certify over 2,000 trainees in free vocational programs

More than 100 women from the Tigre district received certificates after completing the municipal "Emprendedoras Rodantes" courses in weaving, textile, loom and macramé. The ceremony was held at the Centro Universitario Tigre and was led by local officials, including the secretary of Women, Genders and Childhood, Nadia Olivieri.

In the neighboring municipality of Malvinas Argentinas, 1,989 participants were awarded diplomas for finishing courses offered by the Centre Municipal de Estudios during the first semester. The event took place at the Polideportivo Braian Toledo and was presided over by Mayor Leo Nardini. The program provides more than 60 free courses covering trades such as chef, barbering, automotive mechanics, carpentry, as well as technology subjects like robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, video‑game development and digital marketing. Certifications now carry the endorsement of the Universidad Metropolitana para la Educación y el Trabajo (UMET). Both municipalities stress that the training aims to improve job insertion and support entrepreneurial initiatives in their districts.
