Argentinian police bust cocaine búnkers in Villa Ángela and Iguazú

Police carried out simultaneous raids in two Argentine towns as part of separate drug investigations. In Villa Ángela, agents seized 1.24 g of cocaine, cash, drug‑processing tools and a shotgun, and a 36‑year‑old suspect briefly ingested a packet of the substance before being taken to a hospital and released. In the city of Iguazú, authorities raided two houses in the Villa Tacuara neighbourhood, confiscating 159 g of cocaine, 71 pre‑packaged doses and related equipment, and recovered numerous items stolen from a local church. The operation resulted in the arrest of three young men, aged 25, 27 and 34, who remain in police custody pending further investigation.
