Prosecutor Raúl Garzón Leads Urgent Forensic Probe into Agostina Vega Femicide

Argentinian prosecutor Raúl Garzón arrived at the so‑called “casa del horror” on Del Campillo 878 to direct an urgent forensic operation in the femicide case of Agostina Vega. Investigators are examining a newer concrete slab and an unusually thick wall, suspecting they may conceal evidence.

The public prosecutor ordered acoustic tests to assess whether other residents could have heard the crime, and authorized soil and demolition work to lift the suspicious slab, remove earth and create openings in the wall. The goal is to determine responsibility, verify alibis and uncover any additional proof linked to the murder.
