Argentinian school athletics teams win multiple medals at national and provincial events

The Escuela Municipal de Atletismo from Goya captured five podium places at the recent National Throwing Championship in Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos, including a national javelin title by Stefano Toscani. Coach Germán Sánchez highlighted the eight‑year development program that produced national‑level performances in javelin, shot put and hammer.

In Tandil, the Pinamar athletics school excelled at the Provincial U14 Championship, earning ten medals – five gold, three silver and two bronze – across sprint, relay and field events. Standout athletes included Zoe González, Nereo Quiñónez and Félix Gancedo, who each contributed to the medal tally.

Both schools’ successes underline the strength of municipal athletics programs in Argentina and set expectations for upcoming national contests.
