Argenton homicide investigation: Fourth person charged with murder
Detectives from the Homicide Squad have charged a fourth person with murder in connection to a fatal stabbing in Argenton. The incident occurred on April 19, when a group of attackers allegedly forced their way into a home on the corner of Waratah and Montgomery Streets. A 38-year-old man was stabbed multiple times and died at the scene.
Previously, investigators charged a 22-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys with murder. The latest arrest involves a 20-year-old man apprehended at Newcastle police station on August 20. He has been remanded in custody to appear in court.
