Argentores hosts Sixth Meeting of Screenwriting Students

The Sixth Meeting of Screenwriting Students was held at the Argentores auditorium on August 13 and 14. Organized as part of the ‘Cultura Abierta’ initiative, the event brought together students from various educational institutions across Argentina to engage with industry professionals regarding the craft of authorship.

Pedro Patzer, President of the Argentores Professional Radio Council, inaugurated the event. Miguel Diani, President of Argentores, addressed the attendees, highlighting the connection between culture and education. Diani criticized current funding cuts to public education and culture, describing such measures as a way to limit cultural access and control educational opportunities.

The program included roundtables on various aspects of authorship, including a session on new technologies titled ‘Writing for Video Games,’ coordinated by Ramiro San Honorio and featuring industry expert Martín Romero.
