Argive Association ‘O Danaos’ holds excursion to Lavrio and Sounio

The Argive Association ‘O Danaos’ organized a successful day trip on Sunday, October 11, to the historic regions of Lavreotiki and Sounio. The excursion included visits to the Lavrio Mineralogical Museum, where participants learned about the region's unique mineral wealth and mining history.

The group also visited the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio, exploring the architectural monument overlooking the Aegean Sea. The day concluded in the town of Lavrio, providing members with time to visit the harbor and local traditional tavernas.
