Argolida Football Coaches Association demands qualified staff for new season

The Argolida Football Coaches Association has issued a formal intervention ahead of the 2026-2027 season regarding the hiring of technical staff without recognized qualifications. The association expressed concern over local clubs appointing coaches, assistant coaches, and goalkeeper trainers who lack valid UEFA or Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) diplomas, valid three-year identification, or professional practice licenses.

To ensure the safety and health of athletes, the association emphasizes that training and psychosomatic education must be conducted exclusively by certified professionals. According to revised EPO regulations, legal practice requires a UEFA diploma appropriate for the team's category, a valid UEFA/EPO three-year ID, a professional license from the General Secretariat of Sports, and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

Furthermore, the regulations mandate the hiring of qualified coaches for all EPS Argolida championship categories and youth departments. Coaches must possess an official certification bulletin to enter the technical area and perform their duties.
