Argyll and Bute Council offers employability support for parents

Argyll and Bute Council is encouraging parents in the region to utilize the Parental Employability Support (PES) programme. The initiative offers free, one-to-one assistance designed to help parents develop new skills, find employment, or increase their current household income.

Delivered by the Council’s Employability Team, the programme provides flexible support tailored to individual needs. Services include training and upskilling, job search assistance, interview preparation, and confidence building. Additionally, the team offers guidance on health support, money management, budgeting, and debt advice.
