Argyll, Argos, Sea Lion, Alitan 3 win IV Regata Clásicos de la Comunitat Valenciana

The fourth edition of the Regata Clásicos de la Comunitat Valenciana took place over two days at the Club Náutico de Jávea. Thirty classic vessels competed in four classes – Época, Clásicos, Espíritu de Tradición and RI Clásicos – completing three races in total.

In the Época class, the British‑owned Argyll secured first place, edging out José Luis Vilar’s Gipsy. The Argos won the Clásicos class after a points tie‑break with the Clarionet. Sea Lion claimed victory in the Espíritu de Tradición category, while Alitan 3 topped the RI Clásicos standings. The organizers noted challenging conditions, with winds of 12‑20 knots and seas up to 1.5 m high.

Drivers of the winning crews praised the competition, with one participant noting, “It has been a very good day, the team keeps growing and learning in each regatta.”
