Argyris Darelas suffers season-ending ACL injury

Niki Volou midfielder Argyris Darelas has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which will sideline the 22-year-old for the remainder of the season. The injury occurred during a training session last week, shortly after the player joined the club from Naamegn in mid-August.

Darelas underwent successful surgery on Monday, August 31, at the Agios Loukas Clinic in Thessaloniki. The player had not yet made his official debut for Niki Volou. The club released a statement expressing support for his recovery, noting that the team will stand by him throughout his rehabilitation process.
