Ari Emanuel comments on former client Meghan Markle

Ari Emanuel, a prominent Hollywood agent, recently commented on his brief professional relationship with Meghan Markle. During an interview with The Times, Emanuel was asked about the direction of the Duchess of Sussex’s career, to which he responded: “What’s great is that I don’t have to ask that question anymore.”

Markle signed with the agency WME in April 2023, a deal that included her production company, Archewell Productions. Emanuel’s direct involvement lasted approximately three months before he and fellow agent Brad Slater stepped away from her account. While WME continues to represent both Markle and Archewell, the specific reasons for the split between Emanuel and the Duchess have not been disclosed.

This development comes amid speculation regarding Markle’s professional future. While she is reportedly working on a Netflix adaptation of the novel ‘Meet Me at the Lake’, her recent projects have faced varying degrees of critical reception and commercial challenges.
