Ari Emanuel releases memoir detailing early Hollywood career

Ari Emanuel, the executive chair and CEO of TKO and executive chairman of WME Group, has released a memoir titled ‘Roll the Calls’.

In excerpts from the book, Emanuel reflects on his early career in Los Angeles, detailing his transition from a mailroom clerk at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to a prominent figure in the entertainment and sports industries. He recounts his initial arrival in Los Angeles, where he faced financial difficulties after spending heavily on automobile insurance for a used 1983 Le Car, nearly resulting in him sleeping in his vehicle before being assisted by a friend.

The memoir covers his formative experiences navigating the chaotic environment of agency mailrooms and his professional evolution over more than three decades.
