Aria Vega and Ryan Castro reach Billboard No. 1 with ‘Chévere’

Colombian artist Aria Vega has achieved her first Billboard No. 1 with the song ‘Chévere’, a collaboration with Ryan Castro. The track reached the top of the Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts for the week of September 19, 2026.

Released via AWOO/Warner Latina, ‘Chévere’ saw a 23% increase in audience impressions, reaching 6.6 million during the tracking week. The song marks a significant milestone as the only chart-topper by two Colombian artists this year and only the sixth No. 1 by soloists from the same country in 2026.

Vega expressed her excitement while attending Fashion Week in Madrid, noting upcoming plans to open for Shakira during her residency at Macondo Park and record new versions of her songs featuring Colombian coastal sounds.
