Singer Ariana Grande has officially confirmed her relationship with Ricky Alvarez via Instagram. The announcement follows rumors of a reconciliation that began circulating in June.

Grande and Alvarez first dated in 2015 after meeting when Alvarez was a backup dancer on her Honeymoon Tour. Their initial relationship lasted approximately one year before they split in 2016. Since then, they have maintained a close friendship, with Alvarez continuing to work within Grande’s professional circle as a photographer and videographer for her Sweetener World Tour in 2019.

Recent public indications of their reunion included Grande modifying lyrics during a concert at the Barclays Center in New York and the pair being seen together in Central Park.
