Ariana Grande opens Eternal Sunshine Tour in California with custom designer outfits
Pop star Ariana Grande began her Eternal Sunshine tour at Oakland Arena in California, her first major concert series since the 2019 Sweetener World Tour. The show featured a five‑act setlist that mixed tracks from Positions and Eternal Sunshine and included the live debut of the single “Hate That I Made You Love Me” from her latest album Petal.
Grande’s stagewear was a showcase of high‑fashion collaborations. Stylist Law Roach coordinated bespoke pieces from Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Louboutin, Wiederhoeft, and Ludovic de Saint‑Sernin, among others. The outfits blended references to her earlier tour aesthetics with more refined, contemporary looks, underscoring the visual component of the performance as a key element of the new era.
The opening night marked Grande’s return to live touring after a period focused on film projects such as Wicked and Focker‑In‑Law, reigniting fan enthusiasm and setting the visual and musical tone for the North‑American leg of the tour.
