Ariana Grande pulls out of London musical and files lawsuit over hacked material

Singer Ariana Grande announced she will no longer appear in the upcoming London production of Stephen Sondheim’s “Sunday in the Park with George” at the Barbican Centre, originally slated for 2027. The decision follows the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine Tour and a desire to step back from public visibility. Producers said the show will proceed as planned with new casting to be announced.

Separately, Grande filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against unidentified hackers who allegedly stole dozens of unreleased songs, photographs and video footage and sold the material on the dark web. The complaint cites 45 unreleased tracks hacked in 2023 and seeks to identify and hold the perpetrators accountable.
