Ariana Grande quits American Horror Story role due to tour commitments

Singer‑actress Ariana Grande has withdrawn from the upcoming 13th season of the anthology series American Horror Story. Production dates were moved and now clash with her Eternal Sunshine world tour, which began last month and includes shows across North America followed by a ten‑night residency at London’s O2 arena in September. Grande had not yet filmed any scenes for the show.

The announcement came after she had been confirmed to join a cast that includes series regulars such as Emma Roberts, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and others. The decision allows her to focus on the tour and upcoming projects, including a new album titled “Petal.”
