Ariana Grande is set to release her eighth studio album, Petal, on July 31, 2024. A black‑and‑white teaser video posted on July 28 shows Grande adopting a new character, Pepper, who walks into a 1950s‑style office and declares, “Hello, I’m Pepper. I’m here for the audition today.” The clip, shot entirely in VistaVision, teases a forthcoming music video or short film for the title track.
