Ariana Madix to return for Love Island USA Season 9 and star in new Peacock drama

Peacock has renewed ‘Love Island USA’ for a ninth season, confirming that Ariana Madix will return as the host. The renewal follows a highly successful eighth season, which Peacock reported generated over 19 billion minutes viewed and ranked as the top streaming title for the summer as of mid-July.

In addition to her hosting duties, Madix is set to star in a new scripted drama series in development at Peacock titled ‘Future Housewives’. Produced by Fuzzy Door, the satirical series is set in an asteroid colony and follows a young outsider navigating a society of wealthy socialites. The project marks the first scripted development from Madix’s production company, Over Fences, and involves creators Brannon Braga and Seth MacFarlane.
