Ariana Madix to star in Peacock sci-fi drama ‘Future Housewives’

Ariana Madix is set to star in and executive produce ‘Future Housewives’, a new sci-fi drama currently in development at Peacock. The series, which marks the first scripted project from Madix’s production company, Over Fences, is described as a satirical reinvention of the reality TV formula.

Set in a decadent asteroid colony named New Beverly Hills, the show follows wealthy socialites navigating interplanetary scandals and bioengineered beauty regimens. The plot centers on how a young outsider disrupts their glamorous society.

The project features significant science fiction credentials, with Brannon Braga, known for his work on ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ and ‘Star Trek: Voyager’, serving as writer and executive producer. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins will also executive produce through Fuzzy Door, with Universal Global Television acting as the studio.
