Arica Court processes neighbor appeal over public disturbances

The Arica Court of Appeals has admitted a protection appeal filed by residents of the Ayllú Condominium regarding ongoing disturbances in the Costanera Sur area, specifically along Comandante San Martín Avenue. Residents report recurring issues including loud music, noise pollution, and the consumption of alcohol and drugs in public spaces, which they claim significantly disrupt the peace of the neighborhood.

The court has ordered the Regional Presidential Delegation of Arica and Parinacota, along with the Municipality of Arica, to provide detailed reports on these incidents within eight days. This legal action seeks to compel authorities to implement concrete measures to curb these activities and protect the public spaces along the coastal area.
