Arica hosts tenth Carnaval de Sabores festival

The tenth edition of the Carnaval de Sabores took place at Parque Centenario in Arica, Chile, featuring over 100 local entrepreneurs. The gastronomic festival included a high-profile cooking show by ‘Los Socios de la Parrilla’, featuring Francisco ‘Pancho’ Saavedra, Jorge Zabaleta, Pamela Leiva, and chef Rodrigo Barañao.

The event, which offered free admission, featured a diverse lineup of musical and comedic performances, including Noche de Brujas, Pamela Díaz, and Asskha Sumathra. Local authorities, including Mayor Orlando Vargas Pizarro, emphasized the festival's role in positioning Arica as a major tourism destination for Chile and the world.

Organizers aimed to reach sales targets of 300 million pesos through the participation of the local entrepreneurs within the 40,000 square meters of the event space.
