Arica Prosecutor's Office adds personnel to combat organized crime

The Regional Prosecutor's Office of Arica and Parinacota has appointed three new deputy prosecutors—Daniella Anniballi, Sebastián Álvarez, and Hugo Puebla—to strengthen the prosecution of organized crime in the border region.

As part of the Public Ministry's Strengthening Plan (Law 21.812), these appointments aim to reduce local workloads, improve response times for flagrant offenses, and enhance coordination with police forces. The new prosecutors will focus on high-impact investigations involving homicide, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, migrant smuggling, and other transnational criminal activities.
