Arica y Parinacota inaugurates Bibliomóvil to expand library access

The Bibliomóvil has been officially inaugurated in the Arica y Parinacota region to promote reading and mediation activities in both urban and rural areas. This new service, part of the Public Library Network, is driven by the Regional Directorate of the National Service of Cultural Heritage (SERPAT).

The initiative aims to expand access to library services, particularly for communities located far from traditional reading spaces. During the inauguration ceremony at Mall Plaza Arica, officials emphasized that the mobile library will bring literature to isolated and difficult-to-reach corners of the region to foster reading habits among new generations.
