Ariccia: Food festival concludes following serious fall incident

The 73rd edition of the Sagra della Porchetta di Ariccia concluded in the Lazio region, celebrating the local IGP-certified pork product and its role in the regional economy. However, the festivities were marked by a serious incident on Sunday evening. A woman, aged between 30 and 40, fell from the third floor of a building near the town center. The impact was partially cushioned by a sunshade on the ground floor. Emergency services, including the Carabinieri and medical teams, responded to the scene. The woman was stabilized and airlifted to San Camillo Hospital in Rome, where she remains in serious condition under reserved prognosis. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
