Ariel Ojeda proposes revitalization plan for Fernando de la Mora

Lawyer and public‑policy specialist Ariel Ojeda announced a four‑pillar platform for the upcoming mayoral race in Fernando de la Mora, Paraguay. He criticised the current municipal administration for deteriorated streets, inadequate cleaning services and rising micro‑traffic crime, describing the city as “abandoned”.

Ojeda’s proposals focus on (1) comprehensive road repair, (2) enhanced urban cleaning, (3) restoration of public spaces, and (4) a citizen‑security plan that includes brighter street lighting, a municipal police of vigilance for patrols, a video‑surveillance system linked to 911 and coordination with neighbourhood committees. The platform is presented as a blueprint to make the city “young, clean and safe”.
