Ariel Tatum officially changes legal name

The South Jakarta District Court has officially granted a legal name change request for Ariel Tatum. Her legal identity, previously recorded as Ariel Putri Tari, has been changed to Ariel Dewinta Ayu Sekarini.

The request, registered under case number 731/Pdt. P/2026/PN JKT. Sel., was filed on August 12, 2026, and heard on August 20, 2026. The court issued its decision via the e-court system on August 27, 2026.

The change is reportedly for personal reasons intended to honor the names given by her grandparents rather than for professional or career purposes. She will continue to use her well-known stage name in her public career.
