ARiMR announces deadlines for agricultural subsidies in Poland

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has issued several important deadlines and updates regarding direct payments and subsidies for Polish farmers.

Regarding animal welfare payments, farmers utilizing quality systems such as PQS, QAFP, QMP, and TAQ must obtain their certificates by September 30, 2026. While the certificates must be obtained by this date, they can be submitted to ARiMR until March 21, 2027. Additionally, dairy and fattening cattle farmers who utilize grazing must submit statements or grazing registers between October 1 and October 7, 2026.

For fuel assistance, the application forms and instructions for excise duty refunds will be made available electronically via the Farmer's Portal on the night of September 30. Furthermore, the application period for extraordinary diesel assistance has been extended from October 16 to October 23, 2026. This subsidy provides 0.52 PLN per liter for diesel purchased between March 1 and August 31, 2026, and is funded by EU resources, making it independent of the national excise duty refund. Farmers must include their municipal excise duty decision as a necessary attachment to their application.
