ARiMR begins early disbursement of direct payment advances for Polish farmers
The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has begun the disbursement of direct payment advances for 2026, starting September 8. Agriculture Minister Stefan Krajewski announced that this is the earliest such disbursement in history, a decision made to support farms facing difficulties due to recent weather anomalies.
Approximately 500,000 farmers are expected to receive transfers during the initial phase between September 8 and September 10. The agency has already calculated payments totaling 3.5 billion PLN.
ARiMR has issued a warning to beneficiaries regarding bank account accuracy. To ensure successful transfers, farmers must ensure that the bank account or credit union account registered in the producer registry is current and belongs to the beneficiary. If an account has been closed or changed, payments will be suspended. Updates can be submitted electronically via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform or in person at district offices.
