ARiMR distributes over 8.5 billion PLN to Polish farmers
The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has reported that over 1.07 million farmers have received direct payments, totaling more than 8.5 billion PLN. The agency is working toward a more predictable service cycle, following a period of clearing backlogs and managing large programs, including the conclusion of the 2014–2020 Rural Development Programme.
ARiMR officials noted that total payouts for 2025 are expected to reach a record 36.3 billion PLN. Future support initiatives include investments in renewable energy sources—such as biogas plants, photovoltaics, and thermal modernization—as well as increased rates for purchasing bulls.
To ensure financial liquidity, the agency aims to distribute advances earlier than the traditional December 1 deadline. Officials emphasized the importance of the E-Wniosek Plus geospatial system, which has accelerated the application process by allowing electronic submissions and automated error detection. However, farmers are cautioned to update their bank account details in the agency's system; failure to do so has caused delays for thousands of recipients when transfers are returned to the agency.
