ARiMR reports over 262,000 subsidy applications from Polish farmers
Polish farmers are rapidly submitting applications for subsidies covering mineral fertilizers and agricultural fuel. As of October 20, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has received 262,548 applications. Of these, 148,255 are for diesel fuel support, while 114,293 concern mineral fertilizer costs.
The deadline for electronic submissions via the Farmer's Portal is Friday, October 23, 2026. The aid is intended for micro, small, and medium-sized agricultural enterprises to compensate for increased costs resulting from the crisis in the Middle East. To qualify, purchases must have been made between March 1 and August 31, 2026.
For diesel fuel, the rate is set at 0.52 PLN per liter, contingent upon the farmer having received an excise duty refund for agricultural fuel. For fertilizers, the support is calculated based on the difference between the purchase price and the average price announced by the Minister of Agriculture, with a total support limit of 500 PLN per hectare, up to a maximum of 300 hectares.
