ARiMR to inspect 64,500 farms for 2026 direct payments

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has announced its inspection plan for direct payments for the 2026 campaign. Approximately 64,500 farms have been selected for on-site inspections, with over 60,000 of these to be conducted using the FOTO method.

The FOTO method utilizes digital orthophotomaps, aerial photography, satellite imagery, and drones to verify that the land use declared in subsidy applications matches the actual conditions in the fields. This process aims to ensure that direct payments and support for eco-schemes are distributed correctly according to actual land usage.

In addition to remote monitoring, inspections may involve physical visits by ARiMR employees or authorized external companies. Farmers in selected municipalities may be required to provide additional documentation, such as proof of compliance with environmental requirements or eco-scheme obligations. The agency has published lists of specific municipalities across various voivodeships, including regions in Lower Silesia, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, and Lublin, that are subject to these verifications.
