Aris appoints four assistants and a physiotherapist for coach Vasilis Spanos

Greek basketball club Aris announced the composition of its technical staff for the upcoming season under head coach Vasilis Spanoulis. The announced assistants are Ilias Kantsouris, Kostas Charalambidis and Kostas Iliadis, joined by physiotherapist Tony Karatzas. Long‑time assistant Christos Khasanidis will remain on the staff.

Kantsouris, born in 1973, has served as an assistant in Greece and abroad, including stints with Zalgiris Kaunas, Unic Kazan and Bamberg, and has been part of the Greek men’s national team coaching crew. Charalambidis, a former Aris player, has coached at PAOK and Panathinaikos before working with Spanos in Peristeri and Monaco. Iliadis, a former assistant at AO Kavala and AEK, also contributed to the Peristeri coaching team before returning to the Aris bench. Karatzas, a veteran physiotherapist, previously worked with Olympiacos and the Greek national team. The club also dismissed media rumors linking it to a potential signing of Savón Sinclaire.
