Aris BC coach Spanoulis satisfied with preseason performance

Aris BC head coach Vasilis Spanoulis expressed satisfaction following a preseason friendly victory against Mykonos. Spanoulis noted that the team displayed its strengths for approximately 30 minutes of the match before rotations were made to manage playing time.

A key highlight was the return of Adam Mokoka, who played 11:25 minutes in his first appearance after a two-month absence due to injury. Spanoulis described Mokoka’s performance as better than expected, particularly in the opening period, though he noted the player showed signs of fatigue later on. The coach emphasized that Mokoka will require time to reach peak form.

Regarding team composition, Spanoulis stated that the roster was built in collaboration with management to facilitate a fast-paced style of play and to ensure players prioritize the team over individual interests. He also mentioned that the team is working daily to build its culture and intends to use the enthusiasm of the Aris fanbase as motivation.
