Aris BC shows strong preseason form with wins over Red Star and Maccabi

Aris BC has demonstrated strong form during its preseason preparations, highlighted by a significant 98-74 victory over Euroleague side Red Star Belgrade at the ‘Neofytos Handriotis’ tournament in Cyprus. The team also secured a notable win against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Coach Vasilis Spanoulis noted that while the team is not yet at its desired level, they are in a good position despite missing several players due to national team commitments. He emphasized the team's defensive intensity, noting 19 steals in the game against Red Star, and praised the collective willingness to pass and play together. The squad is currently integrating 11 new players and focusing on improving communication and execution speed.
