Aris Thessaloniki nears €3.5m signing of Alexandre Zaoui

Aris Thessaloniki is finalizing the transfer of 21-year-old Ivorian attacking midfielder Alexandre Zaoui from the French club FC Bastia. The deal is expected to cost approximately €3.5 million and will secure the player on a five-year contract.

Zaoui, who developed at the Jean-Marc Guillou Academy in Ivory Coast, has gained recognition for his performances in France. He was named the Ligue 2 ‘Rookie of the Month’ for both April and May during the 2025-26 season. Known for his ability to play as an attacking midfielder or on the left wing, he has recorded 30 appearances and two goals for Bastia's reserve side.

The player is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki this weekend to undergo medical examinations before officially signing his contract.
