Aris Thessaloniki defeats Volos 3-2 in Super League comeback

Aris Thessaloniki secured a 3-2 victory against Volos at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium, marking a crucial return to winning ways following a period of inconsistent results. Aris dominated the first half, establishing a 3-0 lead through goals from Kwame, Fabiano, and Canterve. Although Benjamin Gare earned a penalty during the first half, the team struggled to maintain momentum in the second period.

Volos responded in the latter half, scoring twice via Ayaku and Karga to narrow the gap, turning the match into a tense finish. Aris manager Michalis Grigoriou expressed mixed emotions, praising his players' clinical performance in the first half while criticizing the loss of focus and concentration that allowed Volos to capitalize on set pieces.

Despite the late pressure, the win moves Aris to ten points in the standings. Volos remains at the bottom of the table following a recent points deduction. The victory is seen as a vital step for Aris to build momentum during a demanding upcoming schedule.
