Bruma signs with Aris Thessaloniki after leaving Benfica

Portuguese winger Bruma has officially signed with Greek club Aris Thessaloniki on a 1+1 year contract. The 31-year-old joins the team as a free agent following his departure from Benfica.

Bruma, who has 12 caps for the Portugal national team, returns to the Greek league after a previous stint with Olympiakos during the 2020-21 season. His time at Benfica, which began in early 2025 after a transfer from Braga, saw limited playing time, particularly following a serious injury.

Throughout his career, Bruma has played for several prominent European clubs, including Galatasaray, RB Leipzig, PSV Eindhoven, and Fenerbahçe. He expressed pride in his time at Benfica and stated that the move to Aris represents a new challenge in his career.
