Aris FC agrees to sign Rangers captain John Souttar

Aris FC has reached an agreement to sign Scottish international defender John Souttar on a three-year contract. The 29-year-old center-back, who currently serves as the captain of Rangers FC, is expected to travel to Thessaloniki in the coming days to undergo medical and ergometric examinations.

Souttar brings significant experience to the Greek side, having made over 130 appearances for Rangers and earning 24 caps for the Scotland national team. His career includes stints at Dundee United and Hearts before joining Rangers in 2022. The transfer is intended to strengthen Aris's defensive line with a high-level natural stopper.
