Aris FC forms committee for new football stadium project

Aris FC has established a specialized working committee dedicated to the development of a new football stadium. The project aims to utilize a plot of land within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis, specifically on the coastal section of Georgikis Scholis Avenue. The land is currently owned by DYPA (formerly OAED).

The committee's primary objective is to manage the necessary procedural steps to turn a 2021 government promise—made by the Prime Minister at the Thessaloniki International Fair—into a binding commitment. The proposed construction would involve a dual redevelopment process.

The five-member committee includes: • Renata Douma, Architect-Urban Planner and Managing Director of Diktyo S.A. • Grigoris Zarotiadis, Economics Professor and member of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Governing Council. • Athanasios Kouimtzis, Businessman and member of the Aris FC Board of Directors. • Themis Tsoufis, Businessman, member of the Aris FC Board, and member of the ARIS Alliance. • Thanos Charistos, Lawyer and partner at Nexus Law Firm, and member of the ARIS Alliance.
