Aris Thessaloniki begins integrating Argentine forward Sebastián Palacios

Argentine striker Sebastián Palacios, who arrived in Greece in the summer of 2022 after a brief stint in Italy, is now moving into the core of Aris Thessaloniki’s preparation under coach Michalis Grigoriou. After a 24‑hour training session in Italy, Palacios joined the full squad on July 27 and participated in a tactical drill for the first time, taking his place on the right side of the attack.

Grigoriou highlighted that Palacios brings experience and familiarity with Greek football, reducing the adaptation period. His presence adds a quality option to the midfield‑forward line and gives the coach greater flexibility, especially alongside fellow attacker Benjamin Gare. The club expects the player to gain match fitness in upcoming friendly games against Atalanta’s U23 side and other opponents as part of the pre‑season program.
