Aristidis Stathopoulos and Gavriil Liatos pass away in Greece

Aristidis Stathopoulos has died at the age of 78. A prominent figure in Greek football, Stathopoulos held significant administrative roles at local, national, and European levels. He served as the president of the Messinia Football Clubs Association (EPSM) for many years and held positions within the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) and UEFA.

Separately, Gavriil Liatos has passed away at the age of 81. He was remembered by former colleague Vangelis Theofilatos for his resilience and humor despite facing significant personal tragedies, including the loss of two sons. Liatos previously worked in the former Municipality of Pallika.
