Aristophanes' Peace theatrical production concludes Greek tour

The theatrical production of Aristophanes’ ‘Peace’, directed by Nikos Karathanos, is concluding its run this September. The production, which features original text and songs by Foivos Delivorias, has toured extensively across Greece following a successful premiere at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus.

Actress Vaso Kavallieratou, who performs a double role in the play, described the production as a political celebration combining music and humor to address the absurdity of war and the human desire for peace. She noted that performing in large open-air venues provides unique energy through interaction with the audience.

The production is scheduled to perform at the Forest Theater of Thessaloniki on Friday, September 11, 2026.
