Aristotle University hosts 2nd Spatial Planning Conference
The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will host the 2nd Scientific Conference on Spatial Planning and Development on October 5 and 6, 2026. Titled ‘Resilience of Cities and Regions,’ the event is organized by the Department of Spatial Planning and Regional Development of the Polytechnic School.
The conference will feature over 150 original scientific papers presented by experts from academia, local government, consultants, and engineers. Key thematic areas include housing and urban inequality, transport infrastructure resilience, public open spaces and climate change, sustainable tourism development, socio-spatial dimensions of sustainable development, and the circular economy and waste management.
