Aristotle University of Thessaloniki hosts 18th Scientific Symposium

The 18th Scientific Symposium, themed ‘Christian Faith in a Multicultural Environment,’ was held from September 22 to 24. The event was co-organized by the Department of Theology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Pontifical University of Saint Anthony (Antonianum) in Rome, with participation from the Church of Greece and various ecclesiastical and academic institutions.

As part of the program, participants took a cultural and religious excursion to Pieria on September 24. The itinerary included a roundtable discussion at the ‘Agios Fotios’ Spiritual Center regarding the role of Christian witness in a modern multicultural world. Attendees also visited Ancient Pydna, noted for its historical connection to the Apostle Paul, and the Holy Monastery of Saint Athanasios in Kolindros.
