Aristotle University showcases research at 90th Thessaloniki International Fair

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is showcasing its research and innovation at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair. The university's pavilion was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Sofia Zacharaki, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Education, Nikos Papaioannou.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the university's exhibition space on September 5, where he was briefed by the Rector of Aristotle University, Professor Kyriakos Anastasiadis. The Prime Minister expressed particular interest in the various scientific applications being developed at the institution.

The exhibition covers a wide range of scientific fields, including aerospace, nano- and radio-telescopes, sports engineering, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, synthetic biology, and future medicine. Many of the displayed projects focus on addressing modern societal and economic needs, such as health, accessibility, sustainable tourism, environmental protection, the green transition of shipping, sustainable nutrition, and education.
