Arizona Cardinals face major injury setbacks with Paris Johnson Jr. out for season
The Arizona Cardinals are facing significant injury setbacks following their loss to the New York Giants. Starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after tearing his biceps. Head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed that Johnson will undergo surgery soon, noting the loss of the offensive line leader is a major blow to the team. Seventh-round pick Jayden Williams is expected to step into the starting role.
Additionally, rookie running back Jeremiyah Love expressed frustration regarding ongoing physical struggles. Love, who has been splitting carries with Tyler Allgeier, dealt with ankle concerns during the game against the Giants. While Love stated he did not suffer a new injury during the contest, he noted that managing his workload and physical fatigue has been a challenge during his rookie season.
